crawling, clawing
to bathe myself in the soul of the earth
mud goddesses
kissed by the sun
washed in a thousand tears of ocean
bent, broken
untangle the tendrils of memories
let them trickle down my back
shake the grit from my hair
my world
in a grain of sand.
throw it to the wind.
filthy, frustrated
there I was
standing in a moment I never believed would come
looking straight ahead
she was right in front of me..
shed my tough skin
softened beating heart
who was right in front of me
right now
this
this is all that matters.
